This is where you have sat and decided that you are going to build your own new empire? your house is the place you are ultimately going to live in. Then should you not have given some thoughts before building the house. In fact, it is one thing in a human’s life that he or she should have put all his thoughts and opinions into. Bad planning and sudden implementations would lead to extravagance, disappointment and horrible mistakes. The structure of a house would vary according to many factors. Whether you are single or a family, according to your salary, and even according to the different climatic changes of the city you are living in. In short there are many things to think about when building a house.
Your responsibilities and legal permission
Before building any house, or any construction for that matter, it is your responsibility to legalise it. The land should be registered under the Land registrar of the city you live in. Further the work place should be inspected by a land inspector who would check on to see if you have complied by a construction safety management plan. The site area should pass on this examination by the site inspector and he should certify that site area is safe for the workers as well as the people in the surrounding vicinity.
Workers should also ensure that they are following the electrical site safety compliance methods introduced for labours at working places to protect themselves from any serious electrical injury that could occur.
Planning of place, space and structure.
Bad planning can lead to a dull looking small weird house. You need to have a good idea about the picture of the house you are hoping to build. For this purpose, it is always better to get an architect to draw out a plan for you. When the plan is given to be drawn, contribute to it by presenting your ideas and opinions. State what you would like to see in your house. Allocate spaces for each room wisely. And plan on the way the house should be built so that enough light gets in to your house. Plan on the number of halls, rooms, bathrooms and kitchens you need. However, do not have excess of any rooms as it would steal the living space. Once you have decided on this then you can get the furniture accordingly to suit each place.
Letting others decide for you.
Your family or your relatives would always want to decide on behalf of you. They would find a fault in one thing or the other. At times, it would be nagging about too many rooms, or at another time it would be about you are spending too much on one aspect. These things would cause doubt of everything you do. Always remember that it is your home, and who would know better than you about it.
